Oncology Massage & Reiki Training Course Details:
The Butterfly Touch Therapy award winning online oncology massage and reiki training course, has been designed to provide a positive learning experience. The course is suitable for all kinds of learning styles, and combine interactive learning and assessment using a variety of media. You will hear audios of cancer patients experiences throughout their cancer diagnosis and care and you will follow videos showing the various techniques as part of the hands-on practical. This all provides a very powerful learning experience for the therapist.
This online oncology training program consists of 5 sections.
PART 1 – Complementary Therapies in Cancer Care for Massage and Reiki
PART 2 – Connecting with the Patient
PART 3 – The Patient’s Journey
PART 4 – Guidelines and Best Practices
PART 5 – Practical with video’s and assessments
Additional Resources: You will be able to access a course booklet to print off at the beginning of each section allowing you to record information. There are also additional practical hand-outs throughout the course which can be added to your booklet to create a portfolio of evidence for your future reference.
This course is to be taken at your own time and convenience.

Massage: Level 3 Diploma
Reiki: Level 2 Degree Attunement
Oncology Massage and Reiki Training Course Completion:
Upon successful completion of the course, Massage and Reiki Practitioners (who meet the required course prerequisite) will receive a CPD certificate in Complementary Therapies in Cancer for Massage and Reiki. You will also be eligible to apply for insurance that will allow the practice of reflexology and reiki for patients diagnosed with cancer. Additionally all therapists will be invited to join our ‘Therapist Register’.
PLEASE NOTE: Healthcare Professionals who do not meet the course prerequisite requirement, will receive a CPD Certificate in Complementary Therapies in Cancer Care. This training will not provide you with a qualification to practice as a Complementary Therapist.
